5. Investment risks

Investments in commodity-linked products, including those exposed to physical gold and silver markets, carry risks including but not limited to:

  • Possible loss of principal due to adverse market movements.
  • Liquidity constraints during the lock-in period or during market dislocations.
  • Price volatility in physical metal markets driven by geopolitical, currency, or macro events.
  • Counterparty, custody, and operational risks inherent to physical-asset trading.
  • Tax and regulatory changes affecting investment outcomes.

The IIGST Floating Fund has full market exposure and no fixed-return guarantee. The IIGST Fix Return Fund’s payouts are subject to the conditions stated in the Client Agreement. Investors can withdraw from either fund at any time; however, if withdrawn before the lock-in period matures, the following terms apply:

  • IIGST Fix Return Fund — 2-year lock-in: at maturity, the investor receives the full 18% p.a.; if withdrawn before 2 years, the return drops to 9% p.a. and a 20% exit load is deducted from the redeemable amount.
  • IIGST Floating Fund — 1-year lock-in: at maturity, redemption is at the prevailing NAV with no deduction; if withdrawn before 1 year, a 20% exit load is deducted from the redeemable amount (running NAV × units held).

6. NRI / overseas investors

Investments by Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and overseas investors are subject to applicable foreign-exchange regulations and tax treaties in their country of residence. Investors are responsible for compliance with their local laws. We do not provide cross-border tax advice.

7. Payment processors

Payments are processed through third-party providers — Razorpay for domestic (Indian) investors and PayPal for overseas investors. Their respective terms, fees, and currency-conversion rates apply. We are not responsible for delays, fees, or technical issues caused by these providers.
